Water Damage in the Hallway

SERVPRO of Northern Rhode Island professionals were recently dispatched to a home in Cumberland. The caller complained about a wet carpet and a musty odor filling up their hallway. Our crew was immediately dispatched to the home, since in situations like this, mold growth is usually the main culprit. Upon entering the infected area, the crew used water detection technology to see how far the water had spread. The breadth of the spread was large, so the best solution was to remove the carpet and proceed to the drying process. Once the drying process was completed, a new carpet was placed down and the customer was thrilled with the results.
