SERVPRO Removes Flooded Carpet

SERVPRO of Northern Rhode Island responded to a flooded basement office. The damage from the loss was so extensive, that both the carpet pad and baseboard had to be removed. The before picture was taken by our crew immediately upon arriving on-scene. The water was about 4 inches deep throughout the basement and soaked up most of the carpet. The after picture was taken about an half-hour after removal began. To make the removal process easier, drying equipment was placed strategically underneath the pad to dry the area. A dryer rug meant an easier removal process because the rug would have less weight to it. The building manager was very pleased with the results.
