This bar/hall suffered major water damage following a burst pipe. When we arrived there was a significant amount of water, we began the extraction process and now we're onto the removal process. We'll make this water damage "Like it never even happened."

This was a broken pipe, recovered by one of our own technicians after arriving to a water loss in Harrisville, RI. When pipes freeze and then thaw, the buildup of water causes the pipe to burst.

SERVPRO was called to provide a "deep cleaning" for a customer in Central Falls, RI. As you can tell by the photo, grease from cooking oil was all over the place. When grease builds up under burners, it increases the likelihood of a fire. Remember to always clean your station after cooking!

Frozen Television!

SERVPRO of Northern Rhode Island was recently called to a house fire in North Providence, Rhode Island. After the fire had been extinguished, several electronics in the home actually began forming icicles. As you can see in the photo, the bottom of the television looks like a popsicle!

Mold Found in Smithfield Home

Did you know? Molds have the potential to cause health problems. Molds produce allergens (substances that can cause allergic reactions), irritants, and in some cases, potentially toxic substances (mycotoxins).

Fire Damage in Cranston

Pictured here is the aftermath of an office that originated upstairs. Once up in flames, the soot and smoke started spreading throughout the building, leaving particles all over the walls, ground, and counters. Thankfully, no one was harmed. SERVPRO of Northern Rhode Island made the situation, "Like it never even happened."

Dental Office Flood

SERVPRO of Northern Rhode Island was recently called to an office in Woonsocket, where a recent rainstorm flooded a local dentist's office. Here at SERVPRO, we understand that every hour spent cleaning up is an hour of lost revenue and productivity. So when we heard about this situation, our crews were immediately dispatched to remediate the situation. 

Pipe Burst in Lincoln Building

This flood was a result of a broken pipe in a Lincoln building. Overnight, the owner's of the building failed to leave the heat on. Temperatures reached a low and the pipe burst. The next day, SERVPRO of Northern Rhode Island was called to come in and make the situation, "Like it never even happened."

The imPossible Dream Playground in Warwick, Rhode Island was recently vandalized. SERVPRO of Northern Rhode Island volunteered their services to clean up the area, so that the local children could get back to playing in no time!

A home in North Providence experienced a water damaged that trickled down into the basement and soaked the walls insulation. Upon conducting a water moisture reading, our crew proceeded to then remove the wall and all of the soaked insulation that had the potential to develop clusters of mold.

After a flood, SERVPRO of Northern Rhode Island was called to a home where the water had intruded the home's floorboards. In order to try and remediate the problem, our crews located the wet point and used advanced drying equipment to extract the water.

Terrible Fire Ravages Kitchen

The photo here was the aftermath of a kitchen fire that took place in Central Falls, Rhode Island. There was tremendous damage to the appliances, as well as the walls surrounding the area. As you can see, soot and ash are present almost everywhere in the picture. After the firefighters were done, SERVPRO of Northern Rhode Island was called to clean the area and dispose of any appliances that were damaged from the flames. Thankfully, no one was injured.

This is a photo of the wood inside of a Smithfield home that experienced quite a bit of water damage. As you can see, the wood is severely rotted, paving the way for a plethora of potential issues that WOULD have affected the owner if it were not taken care of. Our crews removed the wood and assured the family that there was nothing to worry about. 

Rusted Pipe Causes Problem for Lincoln Home

A pipe that had been rusted inside of a Lincoln home sprung a leak due to its inability to retain the flow of water. Our crews went into the home, removed the pipe and replaced it with a new that was both clean and efficient.

SERVPRO of Northern Rhode Island was recently called to a home that required a whole bathroom remodeling due to a storm damage. Water had seeped into the bathrooms walls, and the home's toilet even backed up, leaving deposits of biohazardous waste. Our crews went in and removed everything that had been infected.

This was the aftermath of a kitchen fire that spread into the family room. As you can see, the soot latched on to each piece of furniture and created a base that would not be safe for the homeowner's to be exposed to. Our crews went in and immediately remediated the problem, cleaning everything in their path.

SERVPRO of Northern Rhode Island responded to a home that sprung a leak in their basement due to a pipe burst. To ensure that none of the home's contents would be damaged by the water, our crews strategically placed plastic wrapping over their possessions and proceeded to thoroughly clean the entire area.

This was the aftermath of a home fire in Lincoln when we arrived on scene. The blaze of the fire forced a number of possessions to crumble and fall over onto the floor. The owner could not believe how quickly we were able to clean up and dispose of the infected contents. 

Sewage Backup in Home's Bathtub

SERVPRO of Northern Rhode Island responded to a home that was experiencing a backup that was spewing through the bathtub. Since raw sewage is a biohazardous agent, our crews had to carefully remove the agent and disinfect the area thoroughly. The owner could not believe just how widespread the sewage had actually gone. 

New Air Duct System Installed

This is the picture of a new flex duct after it had been installed. Our crews responded to a home that was experiencing a funky odor when their air conditioner was turned on and they called us to inspect the system. Upon doing so, the damage that had been done to the inside of the ducts was far too extensive for just a routine cleaning. This prompted the family to invest in a new system. Now they have clean air!

Mold Growth on Shower Curtain & Wall

SERVPRO of Northern Rhode Island responded to a home's bathroom where the shower curtain and wall had been infected with mold. Incidents like this happen when the shower is not properly cleaned/dried after being used. Our crews had to properly dispose of the shower curtain and clean the areas of the wall that had been hit with mold. Our crews then urged the homeowner's to be routine in their cleaning and drying of the shower, since the mold growth thrives off of the moisture. 

Fallen Ceiling Debris Post Fire Damage

This was the aftermath of a fire that sparked in a Smithfield home. There was significant damage done to the ceiling that forced areas of it to fall and crumble on the floor. Our crews arrived and made sure to clean up each and every piece of the ceiling that laid on the floor. Thankfully, no one was injured. 

Post Demo Storm Damage in Woonsocket Home

SERVPRO of Northern Rhode Island responded to a home that experienced an ice dam due to the inclement weather in the winter season. The dam spread throughout the ceiling and required immediate removal to ensure that the flooring would not collapse. 

Fallen Insulation

SERVPRO of Northern Rhode Island responded to a call regarding fallen insulation in the basement of a Woonsocket home. Our crews went into the home, removed the insulation, and replaced it.

Flooded Parking Garage Extracted

SERVPRO of Northern Rhode Island responded to a parking garage that had experienced flooding due to a heavy rainstorm. The rainstorm found holes and cracks within the structure and created a mess for any and all employees that wanted to park there. Our crews went in, removed all of the water, and deodorized the area. 

Dentist Office Cleaned

SERVPRO of Northern Rhode Island responded to a Dentist's Office that had been plagued with an entire floor flood due to a broken pipe. Our crews went in looking for the source in order to stop the water damage from spreading. After doing so, the entire office was cleaned and restored back to its pre-loss condition. 

Soiled Removed from Hydraulic Oil Contamination

After hydraulic oil leaked out of a homeowner's car, SERVPRO of Northern Rhode Island was called to properly clean and dispose of the contaminant. Once our crews removed all of the fluid from the pavement, it was time to inspect the lawn. To no surprise, the oil had spread onto the lawn/soil, forcing our workers to remove the contaminated soil. 

Office Ceiling Removed & Cleaned

SERVPRO of Northern Rhode Island responded to a commercial office building inquiring about the cleaning and removal of their ceiling. Upon removing the tiles, our crews found large deposits of soot, dust, and other debris that acted as contaminants. This prompted our workers to clean the entire area and dispose of all debris.

Commercial Flood Taken Care Of

SERVPRO of Northern Rhode Island responded to a flooded building in Lincoln, Rhode Island, that was in the need of flood cleaning. Our crews went in, measured the severity of the problem, and extracted all of the water. Although the process was not quick, we made the flood, "Like it never even happened."

"Black Water" Pipe - Removed

SERVPRO of Northern Rhode Island responded to a concerned homeowner complaining about a leaking pipe that was spewing black water over the floor. Did you know? Black water is grossly unsanitary and could cause severe illness or death if ingested. Any and all contact should be avoided. We went in, dressed in the proper biohazardous attire, and made the situation, "Like it never even happened.

SERVPRO Makes Flooded Classroom, "Like it never even happened"

SERVPRO of Northern Rhode Island was called to a school in Cumberland, Rhode Island, that experienced a flood in one of their technical classrooms. Since this room was host to many computers and other electronic devices, our crew had to be careful about both moving and cleaning the products. The photo here shows one of our crew members vacuuming up one area of the floor that had been infected. 

Sewage Leaks into Home's Garage

This was the aftermath of a backed up sewer line in the garage of a home in Central Falls, Rhode Island. There was significant sewage damage that left a 1-inch layer on the floor. Our crews, dressed in the appropriate biohazardous attire, went in and cleaned the entire garage from top to bottom. 

SERVPRO Responds to Park

Spotted! SERVPRO of Northern Rhode Island was called to a local park where our crews performed an entire cleanup of the vandalized property. This was done so in a timely matter so all of the local children and families in the community could get back to the playground in no time!

SERVPRO of Northern Rhode Island responded to a company's inquiry regarding the cleaning of their air ducts. The occupants of the building did not believe the air that was circulating was "clean." Our crew went in, inspected the duct(s), and took a picture of what laid inside. We cleaned the duct, and the owner could not have been happier!

SERVPRO Responds to Hotel Flood

This was the aftermath of a bathroom flood that traveled throughout the entirety of a hotel floor and affected each room. A neglectful guest unknowingly left their bathroom shower running overnight, and before anyone could do anything, the mess had spread. SERVPRO of Northern Rhode Island responded with the tools necessary to clean and dispose of the affected area(s). 

Flooded Library Gets Cleaned!

This was the aftermath of a bad rainstorm that found its way into a Northern Rhode Island school's library. Our crews responded equipped to attack the issue. We removed the infected rug and made sure that there was no mold growing underneath. Our crews then salvaged whatever books they could, and made sure the wiring for each computer was not damaged. 

Commercial Building Flooded by Rainstorm

A heavy rainstorm was the cause for excessive flooding inside of a University building's front lobby. There was significant damage done to the rug and the concrete underneath. Our crews strategically removed the rug and placed drying equipment to ensure that the room would be back to its pre-loss condition. 

Flood in Lincoln Commercial Building

This was the "during" phase of a carpet and wall removal that had been affected by a pipe burst. As you can see, our crews placed drying equipment around the area to remove any extra moisture that was present in the hallway. They then ripped up the carpet and bottom portion of the wall so that the employees would not be susceptible to mold growth. 

Flooded Warehouse Dried

SERVPRO of Northern Rhode Island responded to a call from a warehouse owner that had experienced flooding. Carefully, our crews arrived and inspected the areas infected by the water to ensure that no inventory was damaged. Thankfully, no major damage was done and we were able to make the loss, "Like it never even happened."

Ice Dam Infects Home

This was the aftermath of an ice dam that affected a Cumberland home during this past winter season. Once the dam melted, flooding in the upper structure of the home traveled to the ceiling of the entire living area. Our crews went in and removed the entire ceiling to prevent any further structural damage. 

Basement Flooded from Rainstorm

This was the aftermath of a rainstorm that, due to excessive ground water, seeped water into the basement of a North Smithfield home. There was significant water damage to the ground and walls. Pieces of Ceiling Fall Off as Building Floods

A recent rain storm brought down pieces of the ceiling in a commercial building. SERVPRO of Northern Rhode Island responded by first, picking up the fallen pieces of the ceiling and wall. Then, our crews vacuumed up the water and repaired the point of intrusion to ensure that another flood would not occur.
